Are the Crystals Safe?
The Non-Toxic, biodegradable crystals are super absorbent polymer and are similar to those used in baby diapers. Developed in the 1960s to retain water in arid soil, they hold up to 400 times their weight in water.
Care Instructions
- Do NOT store wet scarves in closed plastic bag or they may mildew.
- If you plan to use the scarf in the next day or so, you can store wet scarves in an Open plastic bag in the refrigerator.
- To store for longer periods of time, hang them to dry until the crystals are thoroughly dry.
- Hand-wash crystal-filled scarves with a few drops of mild soap. Rinse well and hang to dry.
- Do NOT machine wash or dry.
- Do NOT iron.
How to Use
Soak neck scarves in cold water for about 20 minutes. Then wrap it around your neck to cool you off. When it gets to body temperature dunk it in cold water or flip it around to continue cooling.
